“In Light”
One of my first pictures of myself using an actual camera (my Kodak Pixpro). It was this picture that made me keep going. You’ll see most of my portraits are in black and white. I think the lack of color draws the gaze deeper into the image, but that’s just my preference.

I tend to think luck has a lot to do with the way my photos turn out. This felt…professional. Both in the image and the quality of the modeling. It made me feel good in my own skin.

I’ve always had a fascination with looking through branches. I find it to be a beautiful sight that many walk right by. It was cloudy. Reminded me of my dreams to be a vampire when I was younger.

There’s an aura to Lindsay’s work that is unmatched and I’m constantly inspired by it. These reminded me of one of her uploaded Instagram pictures from 2019.

I could feel Manson’s song in my bones as I took these. To me the song took on another level of intimacy with the way he sang it. I have to give Phil Collins his credit as well though.

Sometimes you just need a second to feel the sun on your face or the wind in your hair. This one feels honest… vulnerable.

This was the very first picture I took with a camera. I absolutely love the water and especially on cloudy/rainy days. I find it peaceful, no matter the circumstances.

The black and white makes it look prettier than it is. I went out to view abandoned buildings with my mom and brother. This one felt like it belonged in a documentary.
