Lindsey Stirling Releases New ‘O Holy Night’ Music Video

Stirling took a biblical approach for her new music video, which was created in partnership with a TV show called The Chosen. The Angel Studios series, which is currently in its third season, chronicles the life of Jesus Christ.

In a livestream before the music video premiere, Stirling shared how much she enjoyed the show, saying it depicts “the version of Christ that I believe in.” She liked the series so much that she reached out about creating the music video.

The emotional video intercuts scenes from the series with shots of Stirling playing violin and singing. Stirling shared in her livestream that she filmed the video in Utah, on a biblical set owned by the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

Stirling Is Currently on a Holiday Tour

In October, Stirling released a new holiday album called Snow Waltz, along with a music video for the title track which combined Christmas and Halloween into one story. The violinist, who reached the Quarterfinals of AGT Season 5, is currently on her Snow Waltz Tour around the United States.

The tour kicked off November 17 and will run through December 23, with a show in Los Angeles. As Stirling shared on InstagramAmerican Idol runner-up David Archuleta joined her Monday night in Hershey, Pennsylvania.

Stirling and Archuleta collaborated on the song “Magic” for Stirling’s new album. Archuleta shared that it was the first song he recorded after undergoing vocal cord surgery and being on vocal recovery for three months. The pair performed the song together live for the first time in Hershey.
